Houseplant Painting Class⎪Join us for a painting class led by one of our very own employees. Ellie has a background in art and painting and will be walking the class step by step through how to paint a Chinese Money Plant!

Growing Medicinal Plants: How to Cultivate a Vibrant Herbal Medicine Garden⎪Amy Kousch, head grower and owner/operator of Berchta Botanicals (Northern Colorado’s only specialized medicinal plant nursery and farm school), presents this course on growing medicinal plants. Attendees will learn how to cultivate medicinal plants in their own gardens through science-based and engaging instruction.
Participants will learn about living roots systems of medicinal plants and how to incorporate these subterranean communities into their own landscapes in practical ways. Students will explore the fascinating world of medicinal plant science from the perspective of seed science. We will learn practical medicinal plant information and engage in hands-on seed-starting techniques as well as dive into the science and art of designing a backyard garden that will serve as a pharmacy for you and your family’s needs. We will cover scenario planning, site and soil considerations, individual needs, and agroecology. Attendees will leave with resources to help them grow! Stamped Mandala Coaster & Trivets at OBC Wine Project⎪With a little Flingin Pots instruction you’ll be creating slap slab coasters or trivets like a true zen master. Release your frustration during the construction process and then zen out as you design and stamp with intention. Allow yourself to be mesmerized by your patterns as they reveal themselves . Students will make 4 coaster or 2 trivets. Choose one of Flingin Pots high fire glazes that are all food/microwave/dishwasher safe. This is a great class for all seeking a little balance.
Newly created Coasters/Trivits will be twice fired in a kiln and returned to OBC Wine Project one month later.
