StoryWalk Storytime with Miss Andrea⎪Walk in Windsor to celebrate the installation of a new book! Let’s wander along the StoryWalk path together and enjoy a storytime reading of From Head to Toe by Eric Carle. A take-and-make craft will be provided at the end of storytime for you to take home and enjoy! Native Plant Outreach Workshop⎪This spring, Audubon Rockies and researchers at Colorado State University are collaborating to offer an exciting new series of Habitat Hero workshops focused on native plant outreach. Attendees will learn how to get involved and grow their skills and confidence, not just in planting native plants themselves, but also in encouraging others to plant native plants. Raku Workshop – Fire & Smoke⎪Flingin Pots is excited to share low-firing process that is inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Western-style raku involves removing pottery from a kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials. Once the materials ignite, the containers are closed. This produces an intense reduction atmosphere which affects the colors in glazes and clay bodies and produces brilliant metallic blues, purples, coppers, red and yellows Note: Rake ware is not foodsafe.
