Earth Day Celebration- 4th Street Aquarium Project⎪The 4th Street Aquarium Project, the art installation in downtown Loveland made from post-consumer plastics and other trash will be the site of an Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 17, 2021. The Event will serve as the closing day for the exhibit and will run from noon to 6 pm. It will feature craft activities, recycling information, an Aquarium “gift shop” and two creative challenges. “The Trash Fashion Show” will be the grand finale of the event at 5 pm. In-Water Boat Show & Product Demo⎪Action Watersports will be at Boyd Lake ready for a day of boating! We will be bringing different Nautique Boats for in-water demos and will also have a few Bennington Pontoons on land display for walk-throughs! We will be bringing a variety of Ronix Wakeboards and Surfboards for demo purposes. Also, will have a variety of Phase 5 surfboards!In-water demos will take place in 1 hour intervals, so call the shop at 303.390.1390 to book a time slot! Rain Gutter Regatta Boat Racing! Open for all ages!⎪Rain gutter Regatta is an annual event for all ages whether you are a Scout or Not. All ages are invited to build a sail boat utilizing recycled parts. Then the boats are raced down a length of water-filled rain gutters (6 ft Apart), powered by the boy blowing into the sail through a soda straw. Each contender will race in several heats and the fastest time overall will determine the winner! This event takes place outdoors in the Church parking lot and will be following CDC guidelines. NOCO Half Marathon & 10K⎪ Spring is the season of renewal and running. We hope you join us for a brand new adventure that embodies the spirit of springtime at the beautiful Boyd Lake State Park! Choose from the Half Marathon (13.1 mile) or 10K (6.2 mile) for your run adventure. This course is on perfectly paved walkways with about a half mile being off road on the south loop. Beautiful lake and wildlife views and fun post race festivities. Did I mention almost no elevation gain? This is one flat course making sure you’ll set a new PR or enjoy a fun steady-paced morning run race.
“Make It Pretty” Poudre River Cleanup⎪Help keep the Poudre River pretty! Spend your Sunday morning with CPRW and Odell Brewing Co. for a Poudre River cleanup in Old Town, Fort Collins.
