Run the Ranch⎪Run the Ranch is a super fun weekend of trail running at one of the Front Range premier locations, Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch. In partnership with the Heart J Center for Outdoor Education, SCR is excited to bring back this premier event. Join in the fun on Friday evening for a 5K or 10K through the ranch. Saturday will bring a bit different challenge, runners can choose from 4 hour, 6 hour or 12 hour solo distances. Find 3 more of your friends to complete a 4 person team for the 12 hour event. NoCo Easter Keg Hunt – 15th Annual⎪The Easter Keg Hunt is an annual event that keeps adults young! A wild and crazy scavenger hunt takes place in downtown Loveland Colorado. It is the perfect marriage between a road rally and a bar crawl!
Costumes, team color coordination, and ‘Rabbit-Wear’ is encouraged!
A kick-off takes place at a local watering hole. Teams of up to 9 are gathered. Each team receives a bag filled with ‘tools’ for their hunt!
Once we say the word “GO,” all teams open their first Easter Egg and privately read their first clue. Each clue will lead teams to businesses around town where they will hunt for their eggs and solve clue after clue.
The Easter Keg Hunt is by foot, and sure to be your favorite new way to celebrate Easter! The cost to participate is just $40 per person. The winning team receives a large keg trophy, and every team receives drinks and goodies along the way! The Hunt takes about 2-4 hours. Slip N’ Carved Sgraffito Flower Pots/Cups⎪Try your hand at painting and carving into ceramics. You’ll choose a greenware piece (cups, flower pots, bowls, etc), colored ceramic slips to paint with, and carving tools to then design thru the slips. Often called Sgraffito, the carving away of slip to reveal and add drama to the surface of ceramics is a dynamic and meditative process that all creative types will love. All pieces will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwaveable once complete. (Pieces take 3-4 weeks to run thru the firing process.) Completed projects will be returned to MythMaker 1 month later.
