Treat your pooch to a fun time at one of these top dog parks all year long. Always remember to bring water and to clean after your furry friend. These are my favorite Fort Collins dog parks!
Fossil Creek Dog Park⎪Fossil Creek is a wonderful little dog park located near the entrance to Fossil Creek Community Park. Once you find the dog area, you’ll see a couple small fenced in areas, one for larger dogs and one for the small pups. There is also a drinking fountain for both humans and pets near the entrance, so you can load up on water before you head in for playtime. The one-acre park is still on the small size, but it’s not usually that busy, and has enough shade and open space to be great for any pup to let off some steam and enjoy a few hours of sunshine. 5821 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525
Poudre Trail⎪Dogs are allowed to run free inside a large 3-acre fenced area at Rover Run Dog Park. The dog park has benches, a portable restroom, and receptacles for waste. 2400 S County Rd 9, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
Soft Gold Dog Park⎪Soft Gold Park is nestled in the wooded part of Fort Collins just a few blocks north of Old Town. It has a lot of open space for your furry friend to run around and it’s fenced in, so you can let your pup run off-leash within the fenced-in area. However, there really are no other big amenities in this park, so bring your own water and food to keep your pooch healthy and happy. This is one of the smaller dog parks in the area but it’s still a great place for dogs to come and play. 520 Hickory St, Fort Collins, CO 80524
Spring Canyon/Horsetooth Dog Park⎪Spring Canyon Dog Park, also known as the Horsetooth dog park, is simply the best dog park in town. Nestled right up into the eastern side of Horsetooth reservoir, this park has great views, long trails and plenty of play space for your pooch. It’s about three fenced-in acres so your pooch can run off leash. Bags and trash cans are found throughout the park and there is even a newer area just for small and shy dogs which is a great way to avoid the energy of those big rambunctious pups. There are plenty of benches to sit down on while you watch your four-legged friend run around in the wide open space. It’s always populated with many pups, and is great for both pup and person socializing. 2626 W Horsetooth Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80526
Twin Silo Dog Park⎪Twin Silo Dog Park is a quiet haven for both dogs and humans with a great view of the mountains. You are welcome to let your canine off leash and run freely within the fenced area. At one acre it’s a smaller dog park nestled in a one of a kind park, featuring community gardens, paved recreational trails, an orchard, a BMX park, pickle ball courts, original artwork designed specifically for the park, and a playground that includes the tallest slide in Fort Collins. 5564 Ziegler Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528
